The Old Post Office Bakery

The Old Post Office Bakery was one of the first Organic Bakeries in South London, when it started in a disused Post Office in Lyham Road Clapham in 1982.

We believe that the flavour and quality are the priorities in baking. Our business is founded on producing nutritious and wholesome Organic bread at an affordable price. We continuously experiment with recipes and traditional techniques from various countries to produce goods of the highest quality and taste.

Over the years we have tried many different millers but we have settled for Shipton Mill in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. Shipton use mixtures of Stoneground Canadian and English flours, to give a very successful bread flour range.

We supply our bread throughout South London to independant shops and Wholefood stores . You can also get your bread delivered by one of the Organic Box Scheme companies we supply to.
